Yes, the working height of the platform can be changed from our standard
height to suit customer requirements.
Yes, given the harness or belt is used as a restraint, to prevent the operative from straying beyond the far edge or the open side of the trailer.
Yes, loose handrails can be provided to close off the rear of the trailer. These are fitted once the platforms have been placed and form handrails across the back of the vehicle.
The platforms can be used either as one 12metre/40ft platform to be used down one side of the vehicle or, split into two sections. 2 x 6metre or 20ft to be used in a loading bay configuration with 6metre/20ft down either side of the vehicle to give access to both sides, possibly using the optional extra of removable rear handrails to close off the rear of the trailer, or possibly as two separate individual platforms.
The Load Angel system is modular and can be made in many different lengths, please see list below:
1.5, 3m, 4.5, 6m As standard.
Any other combinations can be quoted (Price upon application) such as stairs at both ends, extra long platforms i.e 45ft or 60ft x three sections or even two separate working heights on one platform. Just ask!
Yes, wire rope restraints can be fitted (Price upon application), also harnesses and belts can be supplied with the platforms. All equipment is supplied with the relevant certification.
All Load Angels have gates at the far end of each section to either close off or admit access to mating sections. If a gate is not required a plain handrail end can be fitted where only a single 6m/20ft platform is required.
There are three main types of castor wheel, nylon, plastic, rubber. 6” dia which all give general duty, regular two way pedestrian traffic 5.0kn/mz.
Additionally, it is also possible to fit rough terrain punctureless wheels in a 10” dia wheel format where ground conditions are not good.
The outside three castor wheels below the handrail are all swivel/braked castors, these are to be locked before any working height commences to prevent any movement.
If for any reasons the brakes or wheels become damaged do not use the platform. These units are easily replaced. Please give us a call.

The two castor wheels on the access side of the Load Angel have brakes fitted which must be locked before any work commences on the platform to prevent movement. If for any reason the brakes or wheels become damaged do not use the platform. These units are easily replaced. Please contact us as soon as possible.
Site Safe Load Angels can be easily manoeuvred on rough or unmade ground, we do strongly advise that all wheels are in contact with the ground and brake wheels are locked before use.
